ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Edelstahl Weimar

Today we received our new certificates for the passed audit according to ISO 9001:2015 from TÜV Rheinland! From June 7th to June 9th our management system was closely scrutinized during the audit, which took place in conjunction with our sister company Weimar-Werk GmbH.

ISO 9001:2015 assesses a company’s quality management system. The goal of the standard is, among other things, clear and efficient business processes, reliability and customer orientation. Examples of such processes are strategic analyses such as the regular evaluation of relevant business and market risks. The determination of important target variables also plays a major role, e.g. the monitoring of customer satisfaction, regular supplier evaluations and the measurement of quality development in the company. Ultimately, the company must also have a clear organizational structure and conscientiously document important processes.

Among other things, the successful strategic orientation of the company with the investment in our new cutting center, the integration of new skilled employees and specialization in industrial stainless steel construction was noted particularly positively in our audit. To assess our quality and reliability – especially delivery reliability – it was enough to look at the consistently high ratings we receive from our customers. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our colleague Holger Paasch from Weimar-Werk GmbH, who is very intensively involved in quality management within the two companies.

Certification is an important step on the way to successful and sustainable processes in the company, but of course there is always something to improve. With this perspective, we want to continue to improve in the coming weeks and months. Close cooperation with our customers is often one of the most important drivers of improvement and development for us. So we continue to look forward to your feedback, wishes and, above all, to working together on complex projects!
